Misogyny masquerading as trans-activism
The controversy over Lia Thomas reached epic proportions this week after the NCAA completely dodged any response leaving it up to governing bodies of the individual sports. Of course one must be clear that anyone who wants to swim should be allowed to swim or play any other sport they want to. Sports are great, I know of no one who doesn't want to give everyone the opportunity to swim or participate in any other sport they desire.
So what is the easy solution? Have male, female, male-trans, and female-trans divisions and then individuals can compete against people in similar situations. Yet the activists won't accept this and people should ask why? What is the deeper goal behind this? The rest of the controversy is all a diversion to divide people and divert attention from the why. Why not accept a reasonable solution that treats people in similar situations similarly?
Remember that objective reality is objective reality, genetics is genetics, biology is biology. The anti-science, anti-reality 'activists' act is if they don't believe that and they intend to force people to believe that genetics is bigotry, science is a phobia and reality is discrimination. In short, the misogynists call anything that they disagree with transphobic, homophobic or some ism of the moment. Any sports policy that allows males to compete as females will eliminate the purpose of Title IX completely. It will result in a male division and a male to female trans division with genetic, biological females getting the scraps for many sports.
Some say having a men's, women's, male-trans, and female-trans divisions is akin "separate but equal" as in Plessy v Ferguson's segregation, long advocated by the Democrat party. They may be right, but then the obvious ''solution" is to have swimming championships without regard to genetics, sex, genders, or anything else. That is essentially what the misogynist commentators are calling for: eliminate any division entirely and just have basketball, swimming, tennis, track, wrestling, gymnastics, boxing, diving, golf, football, soccer, and every other sport without having any "separate but equal" divisions for men or women. One also must question the "separate but equal" divisions for age groups and have 10 and under children compete with 11-12, 13-14, 15-18, and 18+. One shouldn't have "separate but equal" weight classes in boxing or wrestling. In short every sport is an "Open" event regardless of any objectively defined characteristics that might give one person an advantage over another. The result is that we will have biological males take over whatever the competition is, whether sports, chess, or Jeopardy with the end result being that men and women are irrelevant and interchangeable. One should note that when the trans-community can't have a civil discussion without throwing out *phobias and *isms, you can figure out there is one goal: force other people to ignore reality with the superficial goal of destroying women.
Hate speech is yet another term that the fascists, socialists, communists and authoritarians are now throwing around to describe science, genetics, facts and reality. Instead of debating the facts and reality which they know they can't win, they shut down citing reality as "hate speech." You are probably here because you know Facebook, Twitter et al are censoring dissent.
But back to the deeper purpose: why? Why is it so important to eliminate the ability to observe reality and act upon it? Why is it so important to eliminate the science of genetics and biology? Why is it so important that people subjugate reality and science to the whim of someone else?
Once the proposition is established that reality is malleable and subject to whim or vote, it becomes much easier to subjugate people to any authoritarian system: We have always been at war with Eastasia. The superficial goal is to destroy women, but the deeper goal is to get you to agree to subjugate your mind to their whim. To subjugate reality to fantasy. To destroy your ability to think rationally. And that will result in the destruction of you, your mind, liberty and everything that is important.
You aren't supposed to notice, but the same goes for US borders which are racist and *phobic, whereas Ukraine's border, territorial integrity and sovereignty are critical. In short, when DC can send US troops somewhere else, borders are sacred. Ignore reality when it suits the deeper purpose of the security state.
